05SITE INFORMATION
A little clarity.
Nothing hidden in the fold.
Privacy, accessibility and the boundaries of this official companion. The activity is for shared exploration, not collecting information about children.
Privacy, in plain language.
The fold choices live only in the current tab’s memory. Resetting clears them; reloading or leaving the activity starts again. The companion has no fields for names, drawings, feelings, health information or written answers. Printed boxes stay on paper.
No activity choices are sent to a server or to AI. There are no child accounts, uploads, chat, galleries, social sharing, advertising, rewards, streaks or behavioral tracking in the companion. App-level analytics are disabled. We do not add cookies or browser storage for this activity.
The website still needs hosting. Base44 and infrastructure providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, browser headers and security logs. This companion cannot guarantee that hosting generates no logs, and does not set their retention periods. Opening a publisher or source link makes a request to that separate site, whose own policies apply.
Printing opens your browser’s print dialog. Choosing a printer or saving a PDF happens on your device, not through an upload here.
Built to be approached in different ways.
Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA, not a claim of completed certification. The companion uses headings and landmarks, a skip link, visible keyboard focus, descriptive art text, buttons with selected states, and comfortably sized targets. The four fold states also have written descriptions; interacting with a diagram is optional.
There is no autoplay, timer, flashing content, hover-only instruction or required motion. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. Print styles remove navigation and show only the blank sheet on activity and family pages.
The optional fold controls require JavaScript. If you prefer not to use them, the four-state reference and blank printable sheet work without JavaScript. Accessibility testing is not yet complete; please report any access barrier using the publisher’s contact link below.
A companion, not a promise.
This is the official companion to one Sloan’s Bedtime Lights book, not an independent review or a duplicate book library. The free family reading edition, full PDF and audio remain on the publisher’s platform. No purchases, print orders or personalization orders take place here.
The qualitative paper diagrams are not a physics simulator or a prediction of lift, distance, speed or direction. Activities are optional and parent-led. Use clear space, plain paper and adult judgment; never aim at people or animals.
Book excerpts and original artwork are presented in their publisher context. This site does not grant a separate license to redistribute the book or its illustrations. The blank companion sheet is provided for family reading and observation. No medical, diagnostic, therapeutic or developmental result is promised.
For grown-ups with a question.
Please use the publisher’s contact page for questions about the book or to report an access barrier. Do not send a child’s private details.
