04ABOUT THIS LITTLE LIGHT
One book.
Room for a big idea.
You Can Dream Big is a Sloan’s Bedtime Lights book. This is its official companion: a place for one small question, shared observation and a quiet ending.
You Can
Dream Big
A LITTLE LIGHT FOR BEDTIMEThe free family reading edition.
The complete edition has 40 physical pages, including front and back covers, 16 original illustrations and an audio QR code. The free reader requires no sign-in or payment.
The story begins with the Wright brothers’ questions and experiments, then explicitly changes into an imagined paper-airplane reflection. A dream may be about making something, understanding something, or something not yet found.
All three open at the publisher in a new tab. To print the book, use Fit on Letter or A4. Print and personalization ordering are not available.
SOURCE & PROVENANCE
Know which story you’re looking at.
The source note on physical page 37 identifies the historical reference as the National Park Service’s The Road to the First Flight (opens in a new tab). The child-facing reflection is original writing, not a quotation from the historical people.
Historical illustrations are interpretive: they are not photographs or exact reconstructions. The girl, Mom and brindle Cali belong to the present-day reflection, never to the Wright brothers’ historical events.
This companion uses five original art moments: physical pages 8, 12, 22, 28 and 34. The publisher’s page images were compared with the matching PDF pages; the artwork is presented intact, with its original proportions. No canonical character or scene has been regenerated.
All paper diagrams, comparison questions and family prompts are original companion material.
